Pendragon Cycling Club takes it name from King Arthur Pendragon of Camelot. We are headquartered at the foot of Cadbury Castle long thought to be King Arthur's stonghold in the heart of Wessex, South West England.

The Club  promotes the sport of cycling, traveling and the benefits of exercise. Pendragon is represented globally through affiliate Clubs and has pioneered the Pendragon network, an open resource (free to all) which provides a comprehensive guide to cycling clubs in the world. So where ever you are you can find a group to ride with and get assistance with cycle travel related matters.

The Club caters for people of all standards and cycling disciplines, with the main focus on:

• Road Racing
• Club Rides
• Improving Fitness
• Expeditions and Events

We organise events throughout the year, including the Tour of Wessex, which attract riders from all over the UK, the South West and the rest of the world.

We think our part of England is very special and ideally suited to bicycle riding with miles of leafy lanes, and numerous areas of outstanding natural beauty such as Cheddar Gorge, Lulwoth Cove, and the Wylie valley; including many places of historical interest such as Glastonbury, Wells, and Bath, to name but a few of the more well know sites.
