Nicholas was Born in March 1970 - A keen sportsman he ran for Great Britain over 400m hurdles and holds the world record for running from Cape Town to Cairo. He now runs a consultancy and marketing company and as a founding member of Pendragon he encourages people to cycle more, get fit, and use their cars less while taking in the beauty of the countryside....
Paul Croom, President

Paul AKA the “Emperor” (due to his striking resemblance to Emperor Ming) was born in 1964 - he has cycled for over 20 years, and this love of the bike has taken him all over Europe. While he is more interested in Cyclosportive and great rides he can still give 1st and Elite cat riders a run for their money and is a formidable climber. His ongoing quest is to discover new and terrifying climbs on which to test ones strength and courage. Despite his advancing years don't try and keep up with him on the vertical, as you will pay the price.
Emma Bourne, Club Secretary & Tresurer
Emma was born in May 1967 and our Chairman's big sister - She has been a keen sailor, swimmer and cyclist for many years. While she travels at a more sedate pace than the men, she is an active participant in cyclo tourism events and charity rides. As a local Somerset politician she encourages people to start riding and get fit. She runs her own personnel agency for cleaning and building work.
Paul Price, Ironman

Born in 1964 Paul has lived in Somerset all is life, he started running a few years back to get fit and lose weight. Since then he has completed the London Marathon several times and most recently became an Ironman, completing the UK triathlon in under 12 hours (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and a full marathon. Paul owns and runs the stores in Queen Camel amongst other business interests.
